ABOUT MUSE AND OUR VISION

MUSE is an exciting art fair held during Art Basel, one of the top international art events in the world. Focused specifically on the black experience, the styles and traditions of multicultural backgrounds, and the vision of women artists, MUSE is the stage where these visual stories come alive in various art forms.

Miami Art Week and the Art Basel weekend attract close to 80,000 global spectators to the city, with over 45 satellite art fairs speckled throughout South Florida. MUSE is the only art fair dedicated solely to Blacks, Multicultural,

and women artists on this scale in Miami Beach.

A diverse art fair that features modern and contemporary art by diverse artists as well as embracing galleries and collectives. MUSE provides a unique opportunity for artists and galleries to interact with art aficionados, celebrate and comment on multi-cultural aesthetics.

Historically, culturally based artwork is considered an acquisition more often reserved for celebrities, intellectuals, and worldly conscious individuals. Thanks to our exceptionally unique network of artists, MUSE makes the art available to both the connoisseur as well as the novice collector.

Great markets for art have always been in diverse and sophisticated urban centers that offer a depth and authenticity of experience—history, culture, and excitement. MUSE will resonate with extraordinary art as a backdrop and focal point showcasing where artists and galleries display their interpretations of these stories.

We are always seeking new and emerging art work by artists that produce in the selected fine art forms of painting, drawing, sculpture, prints and photography.

The undersigned artist, gallery, or collective will be applying to participate in an exceptional project focused on modern and/or contemporary art created by Black, multi-cultural, and women artists. MUSE only accepts original fine art.

All applications will be reviewed and selected by our Selection Committee based upon the Fair’s overall concept, quality of the gallery or solo artist artwork in previous exhibit(s) and specific content from the submit application.
